We got our start back in 2008 – right in the middle of what has become known as the Great Recession.Talk about taking a risk! Companies were laying people off left and right. Businesses – even staffing firms – were shutting their doors.

But there we were, opening our first branch offices in Pennsylvania.

We’ve been thriving ever since.

And the fact that we’ve thrived and grown during one of the toughest economic times in U.S. history has also meant that:

We’ve helped countless companies by keeping their personnel costs down and their employee needs flexible when we provide temporary workers.

Many people ask me about our name, Synergy Employment Group. I chose this name because the term synergy denotes collaboration and cooperation.

And collaborate and cooperate is exactly what we’ll do with you, whether you come to us for help with your staffing needs or for your job search.

We collaborate with companies throughout the United States to find them the workforce solutions they need. We cooperate with our candidates to help them find jobs that can tide them over while they look for more permanent work (via temporary assignments) or even provide them with terrific direct-hire opportunities.

Why Is Our Name Synergy?

Merriam-Webster defines “synergy” as “a mutually advantageous conjunction or compatibility of distinct business participants or elements (as resources or efforts).”

We see the Synergy Employment Group as the conjunction of three important groups when it comes to recruiting and staffing: the client company, the candidate and us.

The three colors in our logo – red, green, and blue – represent those three entities.

Working together, all three of us can create something amazing: terrific job opportunities for candidates and incredible cost and time savings for companies.

Take any one of the three away, and the synergy becomes harder to create. Sure, companies can find great people, but it can be time consuming and costly. Job seekers can come to us for work, but without terrific clients, we can’t help them.
